About this artwork
It is a photograph of rugged rocks with amazingly intricate formations and structures. These geological wonders serve as the basis for this artistic transformation. It is a close-up that blurs the boundaries of perspective and scale, allowing a small section of rock to be transformed into an entire mountain range by drawing small mountain bikers into it.
The photo was printed on approx. 200 g thick drawing paper. The figures were then drawn individually… with pencil and ink, making the work of art from this series unique.
