About this artwork
The depth and vastness of the sea are reflected in my artwork. Using expressive and minimalist techniques, I use acrylic paints to create an emotional seascape that is both gentle and dynamic. The flowing transitions and the contrasting use of blue tones create a lively yet calming atmosphere. This painting is intended to convey a feeling of freedom and infinity and to enliven your rooms with a fresh breeze of maritime energy.

« In a fast paced world, I try to create what many people long for: places where time seems to be slowing down. I call it slow art. The art of deceleration. »
"Guided by pure emotions and without focusing on figurative content, I try to trigger feelings that each person perceives in a unique way."
Doris Duschelbauer is a German artist living in Mallorca.
She creates her paintings outdoors on her rooftop terrace, where the sea and Mediterranean ambience inspire her to create light-filled images full of positive energy. She avoids concrete figuration and creates images that focus on slow discovery rather than fast narrative. Her resulting works depict material complexity, peace, freedom and balance.
