About this artwork
The color green is associated with life and growth. Green is visible the color of freshness and naturalness and in a figurative sense of hope and confidence.
The picture is almost bursting with energy. The fresh, energetic green magically attracts the viewer and draws the view into the depths.
It is a very vivid picture with different color contrasts that alternate like light and shadow. The many layers of color allow the viewer to discover something… new again and again. It pulls you under its spell.
The picture consists of several layers of paint which were applied to the canvas with a spatula and which were then partially sanded down again with sandpaper, which gives the picture its structure.
The sides are painted so that it can be hung without a frame.
The signature was scratched into the wet paint.
