About this artwork
Doug Frohman
United States
« My sense is to, 'inspire others by being inspired'. I engage with and compose in that lyrical magic of creativity. »
Doug Frohman is an American artist whose paintings have been widely exhibited in the United States. Comparing his life and art to a river flowing all around and through him, his "atmospheric geometries" begin with line, color, and the edges where they intersect. In Frohman's compositions, simple and essential forms move through layered spaces, which represent the medium of time. He primarily creates using acrylics on canvas.
