About this artwork
Apex is a play on the rainbow theme.
Following the arch but giving it a three-dimensional aspect as the green comes out furthest at the top.
I love how this piece casts different shadows at different times of day where the light peeks in behind the coloured blocks.
The engineering behind creating this piece was a fun challenge.
Like all the RULES series but particularly this one, it is hopeful and balanced.
