About this artwork
I’ve always believed that art’s purpose is to bring people together.
My personal work drifts towards universalism and balance as a counter to the unbalanced world in which I find myself.
It sometimes seems that people think art’s purpose is to hold a mirror up to the world. They don’t acknowledge that the mirror creates the world.
I believe to create a better world, we must create and support more positive art.
What do you think?
Should art… be preaching?
Should it just reflect?
Is balance an illusion?
