About this artwork
I love mark making in relation to bodies and particularly in relation to asana.
This minimalist work explore how to capture movement, energy and muscles with just 5 strokes of brush.
It is heavily influenced by my lifetime experience as a yoga teacher and student along with my years studying and practicing kanji Japan.
Asana and yoga are a state of unity that comes with joy.
