About this artwork
This is a work about courage.
Even the pricing of it is a brave act for me!
I have been thinking about creating boldly and developing my dancers series into something more and then WHAM!
This work emerged where I was finally able to overcome my mental block and combine two series after years of painting them apart.
It comes from an opening of myself that I've been going through, partly due to my ongoing romance with my wife of 13 years. Couples… are more and more appearing in my work as a celebration of my own relationship.
This is a work about love, risk taking and colour.
