We have all been told to do social distancing; in the entire world, this is a unique shared experience.
This piece has floating and isolated pieces and others that are inexorably linked.
There is a crookedness to the isolated pieces, they are out of whack due to their isolation.
We are all struggling with this strange and scary time but no matter how much we feel isolated, there is still a connection.
Materials for this wall-mounted sculpture… are made from a home renovation that was a trauma for me and my family. Taking those traumatic pieces and making something beautiful is an important part of the progress we will need to make after CV19.
