About this artwork
Originally, I titled this piece "Social Distancing (the RULES #319)" with the idea that the different pieces are like us staying separate. But, I feel like we need to stay hopeful about the future, now more than over. Let's not get too circular with our negative thoughts about Covid and the Lockdown.
When going through hell, keep going.
It was built from left-over pieces of a home renovation which was an awful experience personally. Taking those… pieces and making something beautiful and hopeful is exactly what I hope to do when this crisis is over.
I've made it to hang in any direction. Just like grieving, there is no right way.
