After a dear friend came to visit and we sat in the studio and told stories while smoking and laughing and drinking whiskey this piece emerged.
It reminds me of a different time in my life and a different time in the world when people saw he beauty of smoke as being worth the harm to self. In the pursuit of health and longevity, we have certainly lost some appreciation for these little moments of spectacular beauty. This piece is my expression of… one of those moments.
