About this artwork
Britain is a country full of old industry and warehouses. These are arranged next to tiny old houses full of chimneys.
These are memories of an industrial era that is no longer relevant but too expensive to update or replace.
This country is now my home, from the open vista's and spacious homes of the USA, this is a strange and claustrophobic place at times but it is where my children were born and my wife is from. I call it home but I sometimes… long to be away from the stacks and back out in the freedom of space in the USA.
