About this artwork
I grew up loving and reading Lord of the Rings. Science fiction and fantasy were a huge part of my childhood as I used them as a form of escape.
As I now am an adult, I am re-reading Lord of the Rings for the first time in many years as a bedtime story for my wonderful 4 year old son.
This piece is a celebration of reading and knowledge which led me down a path of growth instead of destruction and a reflection of the joy passing those skills along… to the next generation.
Also, watching the new Rings thing on Amazon at the same time it feels syncronistic!
