As part of my Time Traveler’s Diary series, Photographing Leo transports me into the imagined studio of Leonardo da Vinci. There, I attempt to photograph the master as he sketches—bringing my modern device into a world of candlelight and invention. Leonardo pauses, glancing curiously at my strange contraption, as if amused by a glimpse of the future.
