About this artwork
Defekte sind Teil unseres Lebens und wir müssen sie akzeptieren, um die Unvollkommenheiten zu überleben. In Anlehnung an Kintsugi wurde echtes Gold auf die Oberflächenfehler der Ölfarben aufgetragen.
Eine echte Silberschicht hinter durchscheinenden Ölfarben lässt die Farbe direkt in die Augen und die Seele scheinen. Als Erfinder, Künstler und Forscher habe ich meine eigenen durchscheinenden Ölfarben und die entsprechenden Silberschichten entwickelt.… Ich habe das Echtsilber auf eine MDF-Holzplatte aufgetragen, um den Lüstereffekt zu erzeugen.
