I am Driss Dahhan – born and raised in Morocco, live in Germany.
Even as a child, I found drawing a place where I could express my feelings and find inner peace. This intuition still shapes my work today, just as it did then.
Nature is my greatest inspiration and the source of all my creativity and authenticity. I paint intuitively and consciously with highly pigmented colors, which for me are the language of the soul—the light that touches our inner world. My works deliberately avoid black and glow in pure, intense tones that capture moods and energize.
In series such as Idylle, Subtle Echoes and Vitality, I invite viewers to pause, feel the power of colours and discover joy, courage and new perspectives in life.
