About this artwork
This painting was inspired by one of my walks through natyre trails where I came across birds building nests. Nesting talks about safe havens, a place of refuge, rest and a sanctuary. While painted a while back, this painting is especially meaningful now, given the current world atrocities and it calls out the colors of Ukraine.
