Originally from Tübingen, German artist Eckard Mueller currently lives in Munich where he works as a lecturer and painter. Between 1976 and 1980 Mueller studied in Basel, Switzerland and in Munich with the American artist, Samuel Shapiro and later as a member of the German artist collective, SPUR. His paintings combines chaotic lines with dulcet, blended background colors to create his stunning, abstract works.
