About this artwork
Time and again, the alleged idyll in Eckehard's works reverses Lowisch's work. This is perhaps most noticeable in the mandala circle. A closer look reveals that the harmonious shape of the magical mandala is composed of bangs. Can he not stand the pure fine art?

« My motivation is the creation of sculptures that connect the principles of order and chaos. »
Eckehard Lowisch is a prizewinning German artist whose works are held in national public collections. Lowisch's sculptures seek to counteract traditional ideas and physical properties. To do so, the artist combines natural and industrial themes to achieve a balance between rational and fantasy forms. His works are spontaneous, gestural forms, unpretentious, and fragmentary.
