About this artwork
With this work I create an abstract world using acrylic paints and ink that tells of movement and emotion. The colors embrace each other, conveying a story of cohesion despite contrasts. My intention is for viewers to find their own emotions and thoughts in the interwoven patterns and color plays. The picture is part of a five-part work that tells of departure, development, change and transformation. One thing flows into the other, the new replaces…
the old gently, harmoniously and organically. Like in spring, where the fresh colors of flowers and leaves slowly but surely reclaim nature in cool temperatures and clear blue skies. Panta Rhei. Everything flows. The awakening and upswing of the beginning is noticeable!
The series is part of my solo exhibition “Aufbruch”.
