Mixed technique (Acrylic and oil painting). Portrait on wood panel framed in the old style, of a young woman of the 19th century, dressed in the Victorian style. The fluorescent acrylic paint layer and the young woman's gaze give her a supernatural air.

« I think that art doesn't belong to us, it's not even our ideas that cross our mind but the one of a collective history. »
Edmond Li Bellefroid is a painter and draftsman based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally and in Germany. He describes his artistic vision as being a fragment of history and a point of view. Bellefroid approaches his subjects in a fantastical and mysterious manner, conveying metaphysical or philosophical meaning, sometimes in a playful or erotic manner.
