Edward Abela, an award-winning Canadian painter, is attracted to the beauty of nature, as well as man-made environments. Most of his compositions are of seascapes or landscapes, and he paints in plein air whenever possible. Abela always carries a camera or sketchbook on his travels, later translating his visual experiences onto canvas. He creates using acrylics and oils.
