Elad’s paintings build their intensity through geometric rigour and deliberate, layered mark‑making, offering a visceral encounter with form in motion.
A self taught artist, Elad’s work combines finer brush strokes with direct, sometimes bare-handed physical contact with paint and canvas. Every mark carries the trace of touch — smeared, dragged, or struck — revealing the immediacy of the moment it was made.
Each of Elad’s paintings brings together a calm, spacious ground with a concentrated structure of strokes that feel architectural, rhythmic, and alive. The marks accumulate into forms that hover between clarity and rupture, presence and disappearance creating sculpture-like objects for the viewer to interact with.
Working with a vocabulary of intersecting lines, blocks of colour, and abrupt shifts in direction, Elad composes surfaces charged with the tension of unresolved questions and the beauty of deliberate imperfection.
