This painting is part of a recent series exploring a wider range of painting language to create beautiful, shimmering, emotive abstracts.
I chose the title "Dancing through Space & Time" as I feel that an abstract painting captures many moments and experiences, both of the artist and viewer, and this title was intended to reflect that… breadth of experience.
I love the soft shimmering intensity of the pink background. It hums away, while soft smudgy dots of colour pop and glide across the canvas, leading you around gently.
It manages to be a modern graphic and contemporary piece, whilst also being emotive and atmospheric.
