The artwork portrays a life-size robot caught in the act of spraying graffiti that converts Einstein's equation E=mc2 into LOVE=mc2. His graffiti suggests that the energy that matter is made of, might be universal Love. This work incorporates many different tech quotes, from the humorous to the profound.
This artwork is a Variable Multiple and is No.4 in a series of 10. Each multiple varies slightly as the background is hand painted with acrylic… paint and the letters "LOV" are spray painted on top. The collage elements are printed with archival inks onto canvas, then cut with a scalpel and assembled to form the robot.

Eleanor Turvey is a South African painter who has extensively exhibited on a national level and whose works are featured within private collections in China, Botswana, the UK, South Africa and Europe. Fueled by the recognition of our fragile mortality, she translates her love of philosophy, science and art into her pieces. Turvey’s works examine reality’s surrealism, the importance of ‘now’, as well as concepts of liberation and the expansion of consciousness. Through mixed media collage, she uses acrylics, ink and digital painting in her works.
