About this artwork
I want to tell you about the portrait of a woman created this January. Her appearance is as beautiful as her inner world, that's how I imagined the ideal customer.
She is Ukrainian living in Europe. The portrait was delivered when the war had started, and she didn't want to unpack it before she is ready to feel joy again. When it became clear that this moment might not come, she gave up and told me “Such a beautiful oainting”. I was surprised that… she was able to enjoy the picture and stay kind with me, when their loved ones were in danger.
This artwork was created in one world, and delivered in a completely different one. Upon delivery, two cracks appeared, as if scars on the soul of the depicted. The customer accepted them, and she continued to be kind to me, which gave me the strength to create and show more, as if it makes sense.
