About this artwork
Drifting Bloom was inspired by the quiet movement of nature — that subtle moment when blossoms seem to dissolve into air, carried gently by light and time. As I painted, I followed this feeling of softness, allowing the form to remain fluid and open.
Soft transitions of color and airy textures create a sense of calm, lightness, and inner stillness. The composition is intentionally minimal, focusing on atmosphere rather than detail — a delicate balance… between presence and disappearance.
This artwork is part of the Nature in Light series, which explores the subtle dialogue between light, movement, and the natural world.
It brings a serene, luminous presence to contemporary interiors, offering a sense of quiet elegance and visual breathing space.

Inspired by the shifting light of the Baltic Sea, my work explores light, depth, and space.
I create atmospheric paintings where color and texture form a quiet, contemplative presence.
My works are conceived as focal points for refined contemporary interiors.
Elena Gerasimova is a Latvian contemporary artist and Honorary Member of the International Academy of Contemporary Art, as well as a member of the Professional Union of Artists and the Unified Register of Professional Artists.
Her artistic journey began with a spiritual blessing that continues to shape her exploration of harmony and light. Over more than 30 years of practice, she has developed a distinctive visual language bridging classical discipline and contemporary abstraction. Her works are held in private collections across Europe and are valued for their luminous atmosphere and enduring presence.
