About this artwork
When I created Portrait of Van Gogh, I approached it as a painter’s reflection on the artistic legacy of Vincent van Gogh — not as a literal likeness, but as an exploration of expressive force, rhythm, and emotional intensity.
Through texture and color, I translated this powerful visual language into my own contemporary interpretation. Intimate yet dynamic, the portrait pays tribute to artistic freedom, passion, and creative courage.
This portrait… received significant recognition, was selected among the best works on an international art platform, and has been recognized by numerous curators.
It is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, meticulously executed and hand-signed by the artist.
Artist's Statement: Inspired by the shifting light of the Baltic Sea, my work explores light, depth, and space. I create atmospheric paintings where color and texture form a quiet, contemplative presence. My works are conceived as focal points for refined contemporary interiors.
