About this artwork
Lemon Twilight. It was inspired by my impression of an evening walk in the vicinity of the city of Home. The sun was rushing towards the horizon, coloring the sky in lemon hues. Cold flowed to the ground, dried grass, bare trees, began to lose color, turning into black silhouettes against the sky. For a fraction of a second, the sun stopped, as if entangled in the branches. Last glare, dazzling sky and silence. No rustle, no sound. For another moment,…
the sun continued its path across the sky, darkness thickened, withered leaves rustled, clouds continued to run, nature plunged into night slumber. Tomorrow will be a new day, the gentle sun will warm the earth, the grass will sparkle with fresh greenery, the trunks will fill with juices ... But now freeze the moment, you are magical!
