About this artwork
in ancient Greek mythology, forest nymphs, the patroness of trees. A very numerous category of nymphs.
This is unique! The pedestal is made of old wooden beams (oak). I made the sculpture from self-drying clay (hard as stone). The sculpture is mounted on a welded metal construction and is very stable!
Dryads are a few of the nymphs that are deadly. Dryads will not allow a person who loves and cares about nature to disappear into the forest if he… suddenly gets lost or something happens to him. And for groundless damage or destruction of trees, dryads could severely punish a person, for example, deprive him of his mind.
