The "Ocean" series is inspired by the views of the ocean. I grew up far from the sea, and maybe that's why it has always been something fantastic and majestic for me. When I see the ocean, I feel an incredible delight and bliss. You can relax, forget about everyday life and just enjoy this eternal blue, emerald, turquoise infinity. It's like you're being updated... This is the feeling that I want to… convey to the viewer in my sea paintings.

Elena Mosurak is an artist based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited in Germany, Russia, as well as in Switzerland and the United States. At the start of career, her works were rooted in realism. However, since Mosurak favors experimentation and evolution, her current pieces reflect a balance between realistic and abstract forms. Her diverse compositions are most often created using oils and acrylics on canvas.
