About this artwork
The paintings that evoke whales or dolphins are inspired by the novel "Moby Dick". The author has dedicated many works to this story, also describing the seas and icebergs. The subject "whale" remains one of his favorites as he arrives to go to Patagonia to see a live whale. There is nothing realistic about this work, only the idea of deep abysses and magnificent creatures.
