About this artwork

The work combines the dynamics of the sea and the sharpness of industrial tones. Explosive strokes and drips, directed in opposite directions, convey the changing movement of water - from quiet ripples to swift ocean spray catching the light. On a black-and-white base, flashes of rust-orange, sky blue, and gold evoke reflections on yacht hulls, the movement of droplets carried by the wind, harbour rust, and the tarred surfaces of rigging. The painting… is perceived as a fragment of the elements, torn from time - a moment when the wind changes direction, and the familiar angle of vision turns into a new, unpredictable plane. It is an abstract capture of energy: dynamic, sharp, harmonious in its inner rhythm.
