About this artwork
BLUE DESERT #11 belongs to the series of images that were shown in my second “BLUE DESERT” exhibition at the Sendlinger Kulturschmiede, Munich 2024. In this work, I tried to re-create with acrylic and sand a fascinating depth that touches metaphysical worlds, aiming to combine the real appearance of a desert landscape from a bird's-eye view with something non-material and non-existent in the real world, in a kind of a blue space. The quadratic form…
of the paintings and a view from a bird’s-eye perspective are used to underline the endlessness and detachment of such kind of landscape. The abstract shapes and the intense blue invite the viewer to immerse themselves in a meditative calm and explore the invisible. It conveys a powerful yet soothing energy that creates an atmosphere of contemplation and inner peace.
