About this artwork

This small seascape featuring a sailboat floating across the sea was painted during my participation in the Krea-Messe Creative Fair in Copenhagen, 2025. A semi-abstract palette knife technique was used to create a textured canvas. Vibrant light and deep blue colors, voluminous brushstrokes emphasize the landscape's emotionality and impermanence. Its imperfection evokes the charm of the fading flicker of sea and sky merging on the horizon. The lonely… sailboat glides across the sea's surface, heading towards the rising sun, marking a new day and a new start.
