About this artwork
Lingering is a refined work by the famous abstract painter Elide Pizzini. It belongs to the renowned 'Luce' series, which uses vibrant fluorescent colors and the title is taken from a line from the poem "Life Is But A Dream" by Lewis Carroll.
In this work, fluorescent green dominates the scene, dragging the viewer into a whirlwind of emotions. The carmine red reflections, cleverly distributed, evoke the image of an impressionist meadow, adding a… dimension of depth and sophistication.
Pizzini's technique, which combines precision and spontaneity, gives the painting a measured vitality and refined elegance. Each brushstroke is designed to create a harmonious balance between light and color, transporting the observer into a world of dream and contemplation.
We invite admirers to discover this extraordinary creation, capable of instilling an aura of elegance, making every space an environment of class and distinction.

Elide Pizzini, painter and photographer, draws inspiration from the observation of her painter grandmother. He uses experimental techniques, freeing his artistic expression through the use of flexible plastic spatulas to spread the colour, creating a work that is "generated, not created". His work emotionally evokes the complexities of rebirth and the interaction of opposites, conveyed through the metaphor of the mirror as a portal to other dimensions.
