About this artwork
The Force is a work that is part of the 'Shadows' series. It is a work that aims to evoke the power inherent in every individual. The base consists of a silvery surface that resembles that of a mirror. The color is slid onto this support using PVC spatulas of my own making which allow me to place the color so that the human intervention is not noticeable, as if the creative gesture did not exist but the work had been generated autonomously.

Elide Pizzini, painter and photographer, draws inspiration from the observation of her painter grandmother. He uses experimental techniques, freeing his artistic expression through the use of flexible plastic spatulas to spread the colour, creating a work that is "generated, not created". His work emotionally evokes the complexities of rebirth and the interaction of opposites, conveyed through the metaphor of the mirror as a portal to other dimensions.
