About this artwork
The full title of this work "Look for the Force II" is a reference to the film "Rogue One - A Star War Story". I was inspired by the search for that energy that moves and governs the Universe also as a source of inspiration, or rather of creativity. I used an intense yellow that exudes strength and power, on an ocher background and in contrast with the brown used for the shadows.

Elide Pizzini, painter and photographer, draws inspiration from the observation of her painter grandmother. He uses experimental techniques, freeing his artistic expression through the use of flexible plastic spatulas to spread the colour, creating a work that is "generated, not created". His work emotionally evokes the complexities of rebirth and the interaction of opposites, conveyed through the metaphor of the mirror as a portal to other dimensions.
