About this artwork
When painting a still life she find the greatest pleasure when she can play with color and pattern and try and come up with something original all her own. This is a table scape with so much to look at. A patterned table cloth of paisleys and Wedgewood vessels. Many objects atop to keep your interest. Framed in a 3" silver wood frame ready to hang.

« I believe color reveals the soul of the artist and can affect the viewer in a similar way. »
Elisa Boughner is an American painter and sculptor whose works have been exhibited nationally. She describes her art as unfolding as she works, which continues to be a mystery. Boughner enjoys creating objects within her compositions that are realistic, yet not perfect. She employs color to incite emotion. Her distinctive landscapes and still-lifes are painted using oils on wood or synthetic board.
