About this artwork
In my work, I decided to explore the boundary between the visible and the invisible, between good and evil using simple yet expressive materials such as enamel, chalk and safety pins. The representation of safety pins acts as an everyday means to achieve a temporary balance.
In fact, in everyday life, balance is always subject to changes and it is up to man to find the right balance even with something as simple as pinning a safety pin.
The work… takes on a spiritual value, a simple daily spirituality whose protagonist is the man who is continually searching for a balance between the visible and the invisible.
Man becomes the safety pin, a gold-colored pin to bear witness to human transcendence.
