It is a portrait of the Austrian painter Herbert Brandl. I used acrylic paints and chalk.
The colors are chosen to express something of Herbert's aura, as I perceive it: a deep sensitivity and the warmth of his charisma that he always radiates when you know him well.
Herbert was my teacher and is my soul mate.
