About this artwork
I'm sitting in front of a color field that I've just created, and I get the inspiration to print whatever comes to mind directly onto the canvas, from the paint tube, in the form of writing. My thoughts revolve around poems, and I often write down the beginning of the first line, always keeping in mind the overall aesthetic of the picture.
Suddenly I get the impulse “I love you” and I put this sentence in large, red letters at the center of a work.…
