In mijn olieverfschilderij vermeng ik het figuratieve met het surreële, waarbij ik speel met het concept van werkelijkheid en illusie. De scène speelt zich af in een abstracte ruimte die het dagelijks leven balanceert met een droomachtige wazigheid, waardoor kijkers vraagtekens plaatsen bij wat echt is en wat niet. Deze tegenstrijdigheden nodigen uit tot reflectie over onze eigen percepties en de mysterieuze lagen van onze persoonlijke werelden.
