About this artwork
When describing Clearing, Albert says, "I wanted to create a place of refuge; a space to feel calm and breathe. The trees are silent and watchful. I imagine their bark. The green is fresh. The surface contains a few snapshots: fragments of desert, garden, tiles; other spaces and textures as photographic artifacts."

« Paradoxically, the very nature of these works is entropic, even as they try to capture and order. Everything: paint, fabric, and all materials have a stored energy, an intrinsic vibrancy. »
