Elke Lennartz is an established German artist with national exposure. Her sculptures are shaped out of plastic stamping remnants and translated into three-dimensional forms. For stabilization, they are wrapped in gauze and brushed with glue. Finally, the sculptures are painted, usually with a maximum of two complimentary colors. Lennartz's work is modern, avant garde and refreshing, blending a soft palette with industrial, abstract shapes.
