About this artwork
Absolom I is a pure abstract artistic expression. What inspired me was the name itself, which came from my imagination, then after research Absalom, Absalon or Avshalom (Hebrew: אַבְשָׁלוֹם, literally: "Father of Peace" or "The Father is Peace") is a biblical character. He is the third son of David, King of Israel, and reputed to be the most handsome man in the kingdom.
This extremely solar work completely coincided with this definition, which prevailed… over my initial idea of calling it "Eros."
Its absolute energy emanates from the deliberately intense colorimetric choices I opted for, providing a continuous interaction between the central sphere which leads the viewer's gaze attached to the convolution; and the play of materials and colors corroborated by the intensity of a powerful gesture.
In Absolom we hear absolute...afterwards, the imagination and creativity of the public will distill the magic into this ultra-energetic composition!
