What do you do with a picture that you just don't like anymore? DeElaine has literally turned her back on one of her early works (green bamboo against a black background). By turning… the painting over, she creates a new playground for herself. It's good that she had the right elements for an oversized backgammon game at hand. The long triangles, taken from wallpaper, fit neatly into the designated areas. The owner of this work is of course free to choose which side he or she chooses.
Practical: you have acquired two works in one!
