About this artwork

In crafting this piece, I delved deep into my personal life.. More than 30 years ago I got involved in a heavy car accident. It made me almost completely paralyzed. This means you have to learn to accept and let go.. I had to learn that a lot, maybe most things in my personal life we're not gonna go anymore like I always did or wanted. This is far from easy. Not easy concerning the big things in life, intimacy for example, nor the little things in… life, an itch in your ear. That last thing especially I tried to visualize in this semi-abstract work.
