You can see TWO people in a MAGIC CLOAK, standing in the reeds, in an intimate embrace, protecting - supporting - holding - clinging to each other, as an observer perceives them from the raised bank. The turbulent water sparkles hostile and cold in the evening sun.
The sky is menacingly dark, and the strongly tilted reeds, yellow with late autumn, herald the approaching storm. The heavily textured reed draws the viewer's gaze to the golden tips,… like spearheads, ready to wound.
