Emese Chauvel is a figurative painter who obtained her postgraduate degree in art education in Slovakia in 1997.
She works with acrylics, applying them in several successive layers, allowing her to gradually develop the nuances. The interplay of light and shadow plays an important role in creating diverse atmospheres that bring a particular depth to her compositions.
These series represent different subjects through varied styles, ranging from a simple and clean, almost minimalist approach, to a more decorative or meticulously detailed expression.
The common thread is the preservation of a moment. Each work evokes a memory, an emotion, or a singular moment, inviting the viewer to enter the scene and perhaps rediscover a part of their own memory through the painting.
